Diane Hren, Head of School, ACS Hillingdon

Diane Hren was born and educated in the US, gaining her BSc in Biology from Hiram College, Ohio, and then a Masters from Hood College in Maryland. Her energy and dedication to creating engaging learning experiences for students has earned her much praise, including recognition by the Lockheed Martin Fellows Program, as an innovative educator. Diane has also worked as a freelance curriculum writer and consultant, and is a published author of several works on environmental education. Diane originally joined the Cobham campus back in 2004 as Middle School Principal, moving up to Deputy Head of School in 2010, before relocating to ACS Doha as Deputy Head in 2011, and then Head of School in 2012. Diane was instrumental in establishing the Doha campus and its overall management, ensuring strategic developments and the best educational practices were implemented. In 2014 Diane moved back to the UK working as Head of Programmes (Education) for ACS International Schools.
