Meet the team

The ACS Cobham Admissions team has a wealth of experience helping families transition into our community - from conducting campus tours tailored to your requirements, to providing detailed information on our educational offering, to support with finding somewhere to live, and arranging door to door busing for your children.

Here are the people dedicated to making your application and transition to ACS as smooth as possible:

Heidi Ayoub Dean of Admissions
Heidi has been a member of ACS Cobham Admissions since 2004, and has led the team as Dean of Admissions since 2008. Along with her staff, she welcomes and meets with prospective families, providing advice on general curriculum and program options, showing visitors around the campus, and giving visiting parents and students a sense of the school and the ACS community.

Helene Birch Assistant Dean of Admissions
Having attended an international school in Africa, and with qualifications in education and teaching English as a second language, Helene has worked with ACS since 2000. Helene meets visitors, conducts campus tours, and answers application enquieries. In addition, Helene is the main admissions contact for Educational Agents dealing in the recruitment of international boarding students.

Julia Williams Assistant Dean of Admissions
With a background in UK university student recruitment, Julia has been at ACS Cobham since January of 2009, where her role is to meet with families, answer their questions and show them the beautiful 128-acre Cobham campus.  She also processes applications and works with families throughout the application and admissions process.

Christina Ward Housing Officer
Christina has been Housing Officer for Cobham since 2001. Her primary role is to help ACS families find their ideal UK home through extensive market research and home viewings. In cases where a relocation company has been provided, Christina can support the incoming family with additional information and help. Sue Carden Registrar
Sue joined the Admissions team in 2000, and has been Registrar for the last two years. Her main role is enrolling your children, and dealing with any ongoing enrolment issues including school transfers. Following recent legislation, Sue would be your contact for visa issues relating to the school's Tier 4 sponsorship. Please feel free to call Sue or drop by with any queries.

Margaret Holland Assistant Registrar
Margaret has worked for ACS Cobham for over 22 years.  Now working part-time, she continues to share an invaluable amount of knowledge and experience with prospective parents and students about the school, the surrounding area, and life in the United Kingdom. Margaret key skill helping to make your relocation as painless as possible.

Phil Bridger Head of Transport
Phil has worked at ACS for over 20 years in a number of support service roles. His main expertise is in the scheduling and busing of hundreds of ACS students, door to door, from home to school and back again.
