Boarding house philosophy
ACS strives to meet the needs of each boarder by:
- encouraging students to understand and appreciate that "Our
true nationality is mankind" (H.G. Wells)
- encouraging students to accept the personal responsibility that
comes with personal freedom
- helping each student to realise his or her full worth and
potential by maintaining
high expectations
- communicating with parents in order to encourage their support
and involvement
- maintaining and encouraging highly qualified and experienced
support staff, prepared to meet the needs of the students.
Every ACS boarder embarks on an amazing voyage of discovery.
Many friendships made here will endure a lifetime - all will widen
a student's understanding and appreciation of world cultures and
customs. This is a special experience, and the more a student puts
into the programme, the more he or she will gain from it.
