Welcome to
ACS Doha International School. The needs of our young learners are
at the centre of all that we do. We highly value their happiness
and wellbeing, as we do their acquisition of the skills and
understandings fundamental to their future achievements.
The success of our school is based on the teamwork and
collaboration of a strong community of international students,
parents, teachers, staff and friends who work together to provide
the best possible learning experience for our students. Our
programme, built on forty years of ACS educational experience,
embraces our core ideology, and the values of internationalism: we
aim to inspire all in our community to live these values.
We want our students to feel good about who they are and where
they come from, to respect other people, and to value learning as a
lifelong journey. We understand the critical importance of
providing our students with the skills and understanding that will
enable them to achieve personal success in education and the world
beyond schooling. Our curriculum, based on globally recognised
American and international standards and benchmarks, has been
carefully tailored to meet the needs of an international student
population. We believe that all of our students will enjoy a
challenging, productive, and successful learning environment.
We are delighted to announce that ACS Doha is now a
candidate school* for the IB Middle Years Programme. The
school is pursuing authorisation as an IB World School. These are
schools that share a common philosophy - a commitment to high
quality, challenging, international education that ACS Doha
believes is important for our students.
Every school aims to attract and retain outstanding teachers who
have the skills, knowledge, and values that will contribute to the
success of the school. We're very fortunate to have assembled an
experienced, highly qualified faculty from around the world who can
individually and collectively provide an exciting, balanced, and
highly productive education for our students.
New, purpose-built facilities provide us with an excellent
learning platform that's very well equipped with effective tools
for learning. Technological tools - now critically important
resources when configuring an effective learning environment - have
been thoughtfully integrated into our teaching, learning, and
communication processes and will contribute much to the success of
our school.
We believe that ACS Doha is a terrific place for young people to
learn, grow, and develop alongside other students from all over the
