Language B HS Students - Go to France
23 September 2011
Recently the 10th grade students from ACS Egham went
on language trips to Salamanca in Spain and Rouen in France for
Spanish and French students respectively. I was one of the students
who went to France and all in all I had a very enjoyable trip. We
departed the school early on Monday morning and then proceeded to
take the bus all the way across to France via the Eurotunnel.

Once we arrived we had a few hours to walk around the city to
get something to eat and to see the school where we would be going
during the week. We met up with our host families and then went
back to the houses where we would be staying in groups of 1, 2 or
3. During the week we went to school for 3 hours where we learnt
about French culture, French grammar, information about the local
area and other such things.

After school we had time for lunch and then on the different
days we went to various locations around Normandy. The trip was
very educational and everyone had a really good time. It was also a
good bonding experience for old and new students alike.
