Sustainability Centre Trip - Grade 5 from ACS Egham
21 November 2011
When my parents woke me up in the morning, I stated to protest
about them waking me up so early. But when they told em I had a
field trip, I shot up like a bullet! We got to school quickly
and even sooner after that we got on the bus. The bus ride
was kind of long but fun for the most part.

Once we got there my head filled up with questions that were
soon answered. We go to do a lot of really cool things like
building our own lego car that ran on solar power. We found
out a lot about the people who lived tipisand yurts, too. But
most importantly we found out about how we can sustain
energy. We might thing that it's not that important, but if
your think about it again like I did, we can make a really bid
difference! Did you know that if everyone turned of their TVs
instead of putting hem on stand by we could shut down a whole power
plant in England!
The Sustainability Centre makes you realise how you can help,
even it it's only a tiny bit. In conclusion, the
Sustainability Centre is a really fun place to go to , but it's
really educational as well! I would like to thank everyone
who organised this trip for the 5th graders and we all can't wait
to go back!
