Our core ideology and philosophy actively encourages a sense of teamwork, and aims to set a challenging yet achievable academic standard. We believe in meeting the developmental needs of our students by providing a balanced educational programme, and preparing them to take their place in our ever-changing world. This also means working to ease transitions to and from other schools. The Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) attracts a wide range of volunteers, including the invaluable expertise of our Welcome Team members, who are always ready to help all new families settle into our school.

ACS Hillingdon has grown from 50 students, when it opened, to its current enrolment of around 600 students. Although the school has increased in size, its warm community spirit has remained. ACS Hillingdon is a school that values strong partnerships between parents, teachers, and students.

Academically, the curriculum in our Lower School (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4) recognises the needs of each child, and provides programmes with appropriate experiences. Our Middle School (Grades 5 through 8) offers the IB Middle Years programme with a transition year in Grade 5. We are an authorised IB World MYP school for Grades 6 through 10. The High School (Grades 9 through 12) meets the needs of all of our international students through an Honours High School Diploma, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, the full International Baccalaureate Diploma, and IB Certificate courses. Special emphasis is placed on providing each student with expert advice on course selection, as well as guidance in pursuing the ideal educational opportunities to realise his/her goals.

Our school is located on the Hillingdon Court estate, a Grade II-listed mansion house, with beautiful period architecture and grounds. The estate has played an important part in Great Britain's long history, and we are delighted that these facilities now play a part in educating tomorrow's international leaders.
