08 July 2011

Students at ACS Hillingdon International School found out their International  Baccalaureate (IB) results on Wednesday 7th July. The final year students completed their exams last month and can now begin to celebrate, having achieved an average score of 30 points, which is equivalent to 392 UCAS points or three A grades at A Level.

One student was delighted to receive a score of 42 out of a possible 45, which is equivalent to five A grades at A Level.

Students at ACS Hillingdon will now be getting ready to attend universities across the UK, America and elsewhere in the world.

Neha Lalani, one of the students who found out her results said:

"I think that the IB Diploma has been great preparation for my future studies.  I am planning to study medicine, and in order to do so one needs so many qualities that the IB Diploma helped me to develop. Thanks to the IB I have learnt how to handle a stressful situation calmly and that is something that is really important in a doctor."

Chris Green, IB Coordinator at ACS Hillingdon, said:

"I am very pleased for the class of 2011, whose hard work over the past two years has paid off. Our students have once again shown great aptitude and I'm sure they will go on to find further success in their future studies and I wish them all the best."
