Creativity is an integral part of success in the 21st Century, making the Arts in school more important than ever.
Through the Arts, students master experimentation as a different way of learning, as there is no single route to achievement. As a subject group we embrace performance and visual creativity, and use exploration, self-expression, imagination, communication, and cultural and historical understanding to allow our students to become truly creative thinkers.
Students experience a wide range of activities that broaden their cognitive and creative skills. Participation strengthens problem-solving and critical-thinking, which also boosts results in their wider academic endeavours.
With creative freedom students develop tolerance, understanding, and perspectives that will benefit them in ways tomorrow has yet to decide. Future-proofing the application of intelligence has never been more important.
