ACS In America

ACS International Schools in America is a non-profit organisation based on the East Coast that supports education around the world. Our mission is to raise awareness of and support for ACS International Schools education allowing more students to benefit from the wonderful opportunities offered by the schools, and help change lives, through scholarships, new teaching and learning spaces, classrooms and facilities. We have a thriving network of Alumni Chapters across America, led by Chapter Presidents, who support our mission by donating, reconnecting alumni & friends through reunions and fundraising events. This year we have been running a series of virtual alumni reunions which has seen hundreds of former students, former staff and former parents reconnect from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. If you would like to join one of our chapters please join ACS Global Connect here.

We have launched our first fundraising campaign to enable young people from across America, who do not have the financial resources, to come to ACS in the UK . We want to inspire each student’s individuality; encouraging each to take responsibility for their actions and to see themselves as reflective global citizens who can contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world. We all have a stake in the future, and with your help, we have the power to help young people fulfil their potential offering them the best opportunity to succeed, through accessing ACS’ unique education.

Funding Future Minds – inspiring a new generation

ACS International Schools in America wants to help equip young people with the knowledge and skills they need to understand the world they live in, in readiness to rise to its challenges. We believe we can make a difference to many young people across America, who would thrive from an ACS education, but do not have the financial means to make it possible.

ACS International Schools have run the British Studies Summer Program (BSSP) for over 20 years – a residential educational enrichment program based at ACS in the UK. Over this time, 20 students per year, who are academically able but lack the financial means to fund an international summer education, have benefitted from BSSP at ACS.

With your help, our Funding Future Minds Campaign will support 40 scholarship students from across the US to attend ACS in the UK each year. As a community, we have the power to make a life-changing difference to these young people

How your donation helps:

  • $1,000 supports the residential costs of the scholarship at ACS Cobham
  • $3,000 funds one travel scholarship
  • $5,500 supports one full scholarship
