ACS International Schools in America Inc.

ACS International Schools in America Inc. is a non-profit organisation based in New York that supports education around the world. Our mission is to raise awareness of and support for ACS International Schools education allowing more students to benefit from the wonderful opportunities offered by the schools, and help change lives.

We all have a stake in the future, and through your support, you have the power to help young people fulfil their potential and to offer students the best opportunity to succeed.

Learning happens everywhere – in the classroom, through opportunities and activities beyond the classroom, on the sports field and through meeting the melting pot of nationalities that make up our school communities. At the heart of our teaching we value and inspire each student’s individuality; encouraging each to take responsibility for their actions and to see themselves as reflective global citizens who can contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world.

Scholarship Fund

As a non-profit organisation, we are able to widen access to our schools amongst families across North America, who would normally be unable to meet the school fees.  Your support can make a huge difference by providing scholarships to young people with very limited financial means across the USA:

  • $1,000 supports the residential costs of a US student accessing an educational enrichment program at ACS in the US

  • $3,000 supports a US student travel to an educational enrichment program at ACS in the UK
  • $6,000 supports a US student access a residential summer scholarship at ACS Cobham
  • $60,000 funds a US student for one-year through a full high school residential scholarship

We believe success should be measured by the lives we change. The Scholarship Fund is an important way in which we can jointly make that vision a reality.

Supporting our heritage and our future

We want to inspire future generations and ACS’ historic architecture plays an important part in enriching the students’ lives. The physical infrastructure of each ACS school provides an important platform for the students’ ability to reach their goals. It is not just a matter of walls and a roof. The learning environment also needs to offer the appropriate facilities and equipment for vital teaching and student enquiry.

Opportunities and spaces to engage, interact, and inspire are key to ensuring each student achieves their personal, academic and social potential. ACS are committed to providing stimulating teaching spaces, such as laboratories, libraries and facilities enabling students to collaborate in new ways. The schools' vision is to continue to serve the teaching staff and students, through reconfiguring and redefining its teaching spaces and ensure its students have access to the highest quality technology and facilities and be ready for whatever the future holds.

You can support infrastructure in any ACS campus in the UK.
