Successful bursary applicants will enjoy superb educational and recreational facilities spanning visual arts, drama, music and sport. The school also has a dedicated music block and a brand-new science centre with seven labs.

ACS Hillingdon welcomes students with enquiring minds, an international mindset, and a desire to make a difference and bursaries are available for Middle School students aged 11 or 13, and High School, which includes the world-renowned International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), for students aged 16.

Applications for bursaries for the 2020/21 academic year are invited through to 29 November 2019 from students within the local community who could benefit from ACS’s broad international curriculum, diverse community and inspirational environment but would be unable to do so without financial assistance.

All bursaries are awarded on a means-tested basis and, dependent on each student’s individual circumstances, range from ten per cent to 100 per cent of the schools’ fees. Students applying for the IBDP bursary will be expected to achieve in the region of five A grades at GCSE. Since the launch of its bursary programme in 2017, ACS International Schools has awarded 35 bursaries totalling some £800k and supporting children aged between 11 and 16 across its three schools in Cobham, Egham and Hillingdon.

Commenting on the bursaries, Martin Hall, Head of School at ACS Hillingdon, said:

Our aim as a charitable entity is to advance education through bursaries and widen access to students who might not otherwise be able to attend.

“Our bursaries are part of a £2.2 million financial commitment by ACS over seven years for recipient students, helping them get ready for a changing world that demands a new kind of learning and thinking. I urge anyone who believes the may be eligible, to apply to have the chance for a superb education at our world-leading international school.”
