ACS Hillingdon students welcome Pendle Court residents for festive fun
Last week, ACS Hillingdon Lower School students welcomed residents from Pendle Court, a local retirement home, for an afternoon of festive fun.
During the visit, guests enjoyed a host of performances from students, including a special Irish dance routine, a holiday musical programme, and the beautiful sounds of the Lower School choir. As part of the afternoon’s activities, visitors were also treated to tea with grade four students, aged nine to ten, followed by a presentation from students of all ages showing the handmade Christmas cards they had created for their guests.
Michelle Eriksen, Early Childhood & Lower School Principal, commented: “This was a fantastic opportunity for the students to interact and develop connections with people from different generations. The children put a tremendous amount of effort into the day, and I am very proud of their hard work. The residents at Pendle Court have been visiting ACS Hillingdon for many years, and we look forward to seeing them again."
