ACS International Schools we are looking for 2 x experienced Catering Assistant’s with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our team and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.
This role is based at ACS Hillingdon International School and the working hours are Monday to Friday from 9.00am- 2:30pm, 27.5 hours per week, term time only.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in basic food preparation (e.g. making sandwiches, chopping vegetables, plating meals).
- Serving food to students and staff in a polite and efficient manner.
- Ensuring portion control and dietary requirements are met.
- Keeping the kitchen, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.
- Washing dishes and ensuring proper waste disposal
- Counter service and till work.
- Checking and replenishing stock such as ingredients and kitchen essentials.
- Reporting shortages to the catering manager or chef
- Following food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reporting any hazards or issues in the kitchen or dining area.
