ACS International School Egham is recruiting an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our Middle School team. We are recruiting a teacher with a passion for inspiring students through a concept based, inquiry driven and student focused approach.
ACS Egham is recruiting an English Teacher who is innovative, a problem solver, and a teacher who is able to develop projects proactively.

We’ve been teaching the IB at ACS for over fifty years, and our experience means we know how best to teach it. Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to Bachelors degree or international equivalent as a minimum in the relevant subject or a Bachelor of Education
- A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE/PGDE/QTS/valid Teaching Licence)
- A minimum of two years’ post qualifying teaching experience
- Experience teaching English at Middle School level
- Experience of/willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning
- Demonstrable positive and tolerant outlook, enthusiasm for teaching and good understanding of behaviours of the relevant age group
- Fluent in both verbal and written English
- Experience of teaching in an international school is desirable
- Commitment to excellence in education
- Understanding of and commitment to the Mission, Aims and Values of ACS International Schools
- A collaborative approach to team working
- Positive personality, with the ability to judge the appropriate balance of support and challenge that individual young people need in order to thrive.
