The landscape of interschool partnerships through collaborative activities is complex and encompasses a wide range of different types of interaction which are both formal and informal (sometimes a combination of both), involving schools of different phases and types.
Combining corporate, charity and university partnerships alongside a school network empowers us to make a difference, enhancing the education of school age children through greatly enhanced opportunity.
Schools collaborate for several reasons over different timelines and with varying degrees of success in terms of impact and sustainability. At the heart of all partnership activity is a reciprocal collaboration, the pooling of resources and expertise, the sharing of best practice and a solid support network for everyone involved.
The ACS Partnerships Hub is an informal collective of like-minded individuals with a simple vision to ‘enhance the education of ALL children through enhanced opportunity through collaboration’.
Sharing Knowledge, sharing experiences
There are no contracts or expectations and organisations can define their own involvement based on their individual needs. The level of involvement in activities is up to the individual organisation and there are no requirements for membership of this group, however it is expected that you will be a part of the community, supporting the other partners wherever you can.
There are three ACS Partnership Hubs based around our campuses in Cobham, Egham and Hillingdon and all schools within a 5-mile radius (purely for logistical reasons) of these campuses are welcome to join. Charities, companies and universities can be outside of this geographical restriction.
Staff across schools in the region will share best practice, informing each other and jointly supporting the students in their care, opening doors to educational experiences and genuine life skills.
We offer an opportunity to work with colleagues from around the world, greatly enhancing our educational offer through a breadth of shared knowledge and resources.
Ready to Inspire
These hubs will work together regularly to offer the best possible resources across the region.
Our hubs focus on three strategic priorities: –
The shared use of resources and facilities across all partner schools and organisations, educational events and service-learning opportunities.
Online shared resources and expertise across all partners including access to digital tools and equipment.
Sharing expertise and resources to enhance and develop educators across the partnership group through enhanced CPD, linking education and industry, alongside access to the highest calibre educational content, speakers and resources drawn from our network.
