Safeguarding - ACS International Schools

Creating a Secure and Supportive School Community

ACS International Schools holds the safeguarding of our students as priority. We are committed to ensuring that everyone is safeguarded from harm and protected from all forms of bullying, abuse, discrimination, or harassment.

We recognise that school plays a significant role in the prevention of harm to our students by providing them with effective lines of communication with trusted adults and supportive friendships. Our schools will, therefore:

  • establish and maintain a community where students feel secure and are encouraged to talk and are always listened to;
  • ensure that all students know there is an adult in the school whom they can approach if they are worried or in difficulty;
  • include across the curriculum and our pastoral programmes, the promotion of British Values, and opportunities which equip a student with the skills they need to stay safe from harm and to know to whom they should turn for help.

CEOP Online Reporting

Making reporting simpler

ACS recognises that removing barriers to reporting safeguarding concerns is crucial for safeguarding children’s safety and wellbeing.

It encourages timely intervention, minimising further harm and providing support to children. By making the reporting process accessible in person and online, children are more likely to come forward with concerns, leading to a more protective environment.

To enable students to raise concerns anonymously, ACS has partnered with Imabi, providing an additional route for reporting alongside access to support and information all in one place.
