At ACS, I have had many opportunities for both personal and professional growth. One of the most rewarding aspects of working at ACS is working with students and colleagues from various different cultural backgrounds as we can learn from each other's diverse experiences.
The variety of backgrounds, cultures and languages enriches our learning and makes for an interesting and lively environment. Working in the Primary Years Programme has enabled me to grow as an enquiry teacher and puts the children at the centre of everything that we do. We learn together on a beautiful campus where we can take the students’ learning outdoors in our Forest School sites or the fields surrounding the school.
I really enjoy working at ACS Egham. It's the best work-life balance I have ever had in my long career. It's a lovely place to work at and is run on respect and dialogue with all staff in all departments, and although I am responsible for a support service, I genuinely feel heard and included in the bigger picture delivering the best service and experience for all our students.
I enjoy working at ACS Cobham because it is a lovely environment to be in. Staff and students are friendly, and I have found that there is a passion from both to work hard and excel on the sports pitches.
