Accessibility Statement
This website is run by ACS International Schools. We want as many people as possible to be able to use our website, and we are working towards bringing it in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 AA standard.
ACS Website Accessibility
Our website currently allows users to:
- Zoom to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
- Navigate to page in multiple ways
- Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible this website is
- Every page includes a single H1 title
- No titles are empty
- Titles have a consistent hierarchy
- Keyboard focus has a noticeable outline
- Every page included hidden links that allow skipping blocks
- Manipulatively hidden interactive elements are excluded from assistive technology
- Menus are tagged for assistive technology
- Objects and embedded text of images are described for assistive technology
- The HEAD element include a title element with the name of the page
- The HTML element include a proper “lang” attribute
- Meta viewport allows display scaling of at least 200%
- Page landmarks are tagged and described for assistive technology
- Font sizes are all large enough to be readable
- Iframe elements are labeled / titled
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- You cannot modify the line height or spacing of text
- Some of our embedded online forms do not meet accessibility standards
- Most older PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software
