Robert Harrison grew up in the United States, where he studied and worked across religious, public and higher education, earning a PhD in Religion and Sociology from Duke University in 1991. Before joining the International Baccalaureate (IB) in 2010, he worked as a special educator, teacher leader and programme coordinator near Washington, D.C., and taught at George Mason University. At the IB, he served as Manager for Global Education and later Head of Middle Years Programme (MYP) Development in The Hague, leading MYP eAssessment and global programme implementation. He is also a published author, presenter and former co-editor-in-chief of the IB Journal of Teaching Research.
Dr Robert Harrison
Omar Mir is the International Board Member at World Wide Technology (WWT), where he has led the company’s global expansion since 2015, growing its international business to over $18 billion in revenue and establishing a strong presence across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is a recognised leader in AI, advanced technologies and innovation, and also serves as an advisor, investor and board member to a range of global organisations.
Omar Mir
Robert’s journey to ACS has been shaped by an international background. British by birth, raised in Australia, and educated in both Australia and the UK, he has lived and worked globally since 1991. His international school career has taken him to Rome, Frankfurt, Berlin, Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta. He has taught across Lower and Middle School, including English, Mathematics and Learning Support, and has held roles such as Principal, Assistant Principal, Head of School, Curriculum Coordinator, teacher trainer, and International Baccalaureate authorisation team member.
Robert Crowther
Hugo has 20+ years’ experience working across Media, Telco and Technology Industries, both as an Executive and Consultant at IBM, Accenture and KPMG. Hugo is currently the Managing Director at Human + Machine. He is also a keynote speaker, start-up mentor and lecturer, specialising in Go to market, commercial strategies and platforms that monetise Data, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

Sean Evins is a London-based technology and global affairs expert, currently serving as Global Partner and Head of AI Advisory at Kekst CNC and founder of Entry Point Strategies. With a career spanning senior roles at Meta, Facebook, and Twitter, he has specialised in the intersection of technology, policy, and public affairs, helping governments and organisations navigate emerging technologies and future-proof their strategies. He also contributes to the World Economic Forum as an expert on technology and public affairs, and holds advanced academic credentials in government, political science, and AI innovation.
Sean Evins
Hazel Kay is the Executive Director of Marketing, Development & Admissions at ACS International Schools and is a senior-level adviser and commentator on the independent education sector. She has worked across the UK and Qatar for ACS and previously held senior international marketing roles in the commercial sector with Selfridges, De Beers, Nokia and American Express. Hazel specialises in marketing growth strategies for multi-site organisations and international brand and communications development. She studied French and Marketing at Lancaster University and has a second degree in English Literature.
