We offer a broad and exciting programme of co–curricular activities.
These activities encourage children to develop new skills and talents, and find their passion outside of the classroom.
We believe that co–curricular activities are an important part of a child’s education and encourage each child to take full advantage of what’s on offer.
Our Lower School sports co-curricular programme includes football, tennis, golf, basketball, and track and field for Grades 1-4. These after-school clubs are run by external organisations and are fee based.
As part of their transition to Upper School, students in Grade 4 will have access to a range of team and competitive sport opportunities such as football, rugby, swimming, badminton, volleyball, basketball and track and field.*

Students in Grade 3 and above can take private music lessons on campus, subject to availability. The programme offers lessons for violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, bass guitar, guitar, drums, voice (singing), piano, and ukulele. The private music lessons are 30 minutes long and occur once per week at a fixed time, which is decided in consultation with the homeroom teacher.
A typical selection* of teacher-led clubs include:

- Crafts
- Puzzle Club
- Lego Club
These clubs take place before school or during lunch/recess time.

In addition, we have a number of after-school activities for Grades 1-8 which can include theatre arts, chess, football, golf, fencing, cooking, kickboxing, tennis, Irish dance, track & field, basketball, multi-sports, mad science, and gardening.
Please note these after-school activities are run by external organisations and are fee based.
Home Languages Enrichment
The Home Language Enrichment (HLE) programme is offered to native or near-native language speakers from Grade 1 to Grade 12 to maintain or develop their home languages. Classes are free and take place after school for 40 minutes per session, once per week. Sessions can be arranged per term.
The selection of languages may change depending on the registered students for each language and grade, but example languages include French, Spanish, Italian, Danish, German, Polish, Russian, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, Hindi, Mandarin, and Japanese.
Developing a love of learning in young children is crucial, and this is something that ACS Hillingdon truly values, as demonstrated by the teachers and the daily experiences they create.
