Curriculum

Ready for A NEW KIND OF LEARNING?

Our enquiry-based, international curriculum fosters independent learning, self-confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking from a young age.

We empower students to explore the world as part of a dynamic and diverse community, encouraging them to ask innovative questions and learn from new challenges. Our goal is for all students to become effective learners, caring contributors, and confident individuals who are ready for the next stage of their educational journey.

The Lower School spans from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4. Each class has one full-time teacher, and our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes are also staffed with a full-time teaching assistant.

Internationalism is naturally part of our school culture, and we recognise and celebrate diversity in a variety of ways throughout the academic year. We encourage our students to embody the ethos of global citizenship.

The curriculum at ACS Hillingdon is based on various international standards. Students are engaged in an enquiry-based approach to the process of learning that emphasises creative and critical thinking.

Students develop strong communication skills across the curriculum. They are confident in their interactions with one another and with adults. Across the school students engage with enthusiasm in a wide range of opportunities offered to develop their social awareness, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Creativity is at the heart of our curriculum, where students explore, express, and innovate in every subject.
