We are seeking a highly organised Transport Administrator to join our busy Transport Department at ACS International School Cobham.
With over 400 students travelling daily across 52 routes, including late buses, this role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our student bus service.
Working closely with the Transport Coordinator, you will provide vital administrative support to students, staff, parents, and transport operators, helping us maintain the highest standards of service.
This is a part time role, working 17.5 hours per week all year round, 7am – 10:30am, with a start date of 13th October 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the morning home-to-school bus service
- Ensure all information in Vectare is accurate and up to date
- Process and reconcile purchase orders and invoices
- Liaise with the School Fees team to resolve billing queries
- Administer DBS Enhanced Certification Checks for operators and drivers
- Organise quotations for sports fixtures and school trips
- Provide proactive support to parents, students, colleagues, and operators via phone, email, and in person
- Support with ad hoc duties and reporting as required.
Experience and skills required
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
- Strong ICT literacy, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high standard of written and spoken English
- Good numeracy and attention to detail
- Calm, professional, and able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Previous experience in a transport office or similar environment is desirable.

Role Details
Hours: 07:00 – 10:30, Monday to Friday (17.5 hours per week, all year round)
