ACS Cobham is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Admissions Associate to join our busy Admissions team.

Are you a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service and helping families make important decisions about their children’s education?

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the school. You will be one of the key points of contact for prospective and new families, guiding them through their admissions journey and ensuring they receive a warm, professional and seamless experience from their initial enquiry through to joining the school.

About the role
As an Admissions Associate, you will help manage the enrolment process for both day and boarding students, working closely with families, students, education consultants, boarding and relocation agents, and colleagues across the school.

You will:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to admissions enquiries by telephone, email, Zoom and face to face
  • Build strong relationships with prospective families and use your customer service and sales skills to maximise conversion from enquiry to enrolment
  • Manage accurate student information across admissions and school management systems, including OpenApply and PowerSchool
  • Prepare correspondence and documentation throughout the admissions journey and support accurate reporting and information flow
  • Assist with the withdrawal process for students leaving or relocating
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new students, working with colleagues across the school to ensure all start-of-school requirements are completed
  • Arrange and conduct orientation tours for prospective and new families, providing support and cover for the Assistant Deans of Admissions where required
  • Take an active role in open days, marketing events, feeder school events and other school activities
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the school, its programmes and the wider ACS community.

About you
We are looking for someone who is professional, personable, organised and proactive, with a genuine passion for providing an outstanding experience to families.

You will bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence communicating by phone, video, face to face and in writing
  • Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence positively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of written accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Confidence working with databases and school management systems, with experience of OpenApply, PowerSchool, Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Workspace being advantageous
  • A willingness and ability to learn new systems and technology quickly
  • A flexible, positive approach and the ability to take on a variety of responsibilities
  • The ability to work independently, use initiative and remain calm under pressure
  • A strong team ethic and commitment to the core values of ACS
  • Previous experience working in a school or admissions environment would be desirable
  • Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB), AP or other international curricula would also be an advantage.

Why join us?
This is an opportunity to play a key role in welcoming families to an internationally minded school community. Every day will bring a different combination of relationship-building, administration, problem-solving and events, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys a dynamic and people-focused environment.

Location: ACS Cobham, Surrey, KT11 1BL

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks, onsite position

Start date: As soon as possible

Closing date: 20th September 2026

If you are an organised, confident and people-focused professional who would love to help families begin their journey with ACS, we would love to hear from you.
