Robert Macnaughton

Chair of the Board

Bob has worked in senior roles in the commercial, charity and public sector. He is currently a Governor at the University of Hertfordshire and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.  He has held a variety of Non-Executive Director roles including as Chair of a Housing Association and on the Board of an NHS organisation.

His executive career culminated as CEO of National Car Parks Limited and as Chair of NSL Services Limited. He trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young working in Corporate Finance, before holding senior finance roles at JS Sainsburys PLC and Homebase Limited. More recently he has been involved with renewable energy and commercial property businesses.

He holds a degree in Geology from the University of Liverpool and a MSC in Engineering Geology from Leeds University.

Nick brings insights as both an expatriate parent and a senior business leader. He completed a 30 year career with ITT, holding operational and management responsibility in the USA, UK, Middle East and other overseas locations, which culminated in the role of President of a $1 billion division in 2015.

Since that time, Nick has engaged in many global advisories in the defense, aerospace and satellite (LEO/MEO) industries in technical and leadership roles.

During Nick’s spell in the UK his children attended ACS Egham, providing him with first-hand experience of being an ACS parent and underpinning his international outlook.

Jennifer Callahan Packer

Jennifer has forged an extensive career in marketing and communications with leading international creative agencies and brands including Sky, HarperCollins and the BBC.  She currently sits on the Executive Board of the Devonshire Group, where she oversees brand, marketing, PR, insight and digital across Chatsworth (including the Chatsworth House Trust charity and its award-winning learning and outreach programme), the Devonshire Hotel Group and the Bolton Abbey and Lismore Estates.

An American and Irish dual national, Jennifer holds degrees from Milton Academy, Barnard College, Columbia University and Cardiff University School of Journalism, Media and Culture.  She’s passionate about the role education can play in broadening horizons and creating the next generation of global citizens.

Emanuela is a Managing Director of Helm Capital SpA, an investment and advisory firm. She is an Independent Board member at Ersel SpA, a leading Italian wealth manager and HAT SGR, an Italian private equity firm. Previously she was Head of Italian Asset Management at Equitix Ltd, a UK mid-market infrastructure fund with over 12bn euro under management. Between 2003 and 2019, Emanuela held a number of roles at Transport for London, including being Director of Corporate Finance and Strategy and Director of TfL Trustee Company limited, the entity overseeing the activities of the over 10bn euro TfL Pension Fund. She has held other banking roles in London.

Passionate about education, she was a Governor of the British School of Milan, a leading IB school, for four years.

Emanuela holds a university degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, a Master in Management from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University.

 

Anne Elkington

Anne Elkington is currently Chair of Havant Thicket Reservoir Stakeholder Advisory Group for Portsmouth Water. Havant Thicket Reservoir is an environmentally led project to provide a new, sustainable source of water, protecting two world-renowned chalk streams in Hampshire. The Group plays a key role in scrutinising, and shaping the reservoir, supporting effective community engagement.

Anne has extensive Financial Services experience across both Asset Management (as a Portfolio Manager) and Investment Banking. Prior to joining Bailrigg+ as a Board Advisor, Anne was a Director at Credit Suisse covering front to back strategic change initiatives, heading up the Legal Entity team for EMEA, post-Brexit. During Brexit Anne was responsible for regulatory areas involving strategy and licensing and has had frequent interaction with international financial regulators.

Anne started her career as a portfolio manager, at Aviva she managed large scale investment funds, guiding asset allocation decisions across global credit markets and representing Aviva at Association of British Insurers bond holder negotiations.

Anne is also Vice-Chair and Finance Committee Chair for Voluntary Support North Surrey.

Anne holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Statistics and Operational Research from Exeter University.

Susan Jackson

Susan Jackson MA has over 30 years experience in education. She was a teacher, administrator, and three times School Principal (UK, Argentina, France), before establishing her own consultancy.

Susan has been a UK Ofsted Inspector of Schools for 15 years, and a Lead Inspector of Free Schools, Studio Schools, University Technical Colleges (UTC) and Academy conversions. She was selected by the British Cabinet Office for appointment to Public Bodies in 1992 and by the Department for Education for service on public bodies in 1993. For over 25 years Susan has been an Examiner for the IB (International Baccalaureate). She has been a research fellow at the University of Bristol and was chosen to lead the Independent / International Schools’ Initiative at the National Development Centre for Educational Management and Policy.

Susan is a Governor of an “outstanding” (OFSTED) State school in London, and of an “excellent” (ISI) girls’ independent school in Harrogate. She sits on the Management Committee of Caius House, the charitable mission established by Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.

Dr Tedd Moya Mose

Tedd is a distinguished lawyer, academic, and international consultant with deep expertise in sustainability, energy, technology, and trade. He advises international institutions, governments, and businesses on critical issues such as renewable energy, sustainable finance, and climate policy, and has led numerous pan-African initiatives focused on sustainable development.

Academically, Tedd holds a PhD in International Energy Law and Policy. His research at the University of Oxford focuses on the role of law in ensuring a just transition to a low-carbon future and navigating the legal challenges of global energy systems. He brings extensive multidisciplinary teaching experience from renowned universities across the UK (including the University of Oxford, LSE, and St. Andrews), the US (University of Michigan), Africa (University of Cape Town), and India.

A passionate advocate for education and community development, Tedd brings valuable governance experience to the Board. He holds several board positions in education, conservation, philanthropy, and technology ventures across the UK and EMEA and leads various international sustainability initiatives.

Pam Mundy

Pam is currently Executive Director, Pam Mundy Associates Ltd.  An ‘entrepreneur by accident’, she acts as consultant for the development of a range of international education and school start up projects including securing investment, selecting partnerships, and designing implementation strategy, most recently in Saudi Arabia, SE Asia, India, the UAE, Africa, Latin America, Australia, and the USA.

She operates at both strategic and executive level for a wide range of international school groups, businesses, and educational organisations. She also works closely with the Ministry of Education and ETEC, Saudi Arabia and with the KHDA in Dubai.

Her most recent senior executive roles include international posts as: Founding Director of Schools and Education for NEOM, the new giga-city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Senior Associate to the UAE Design Task Force for a high-profile educational development.

Consultant Director of Education for Dar Al Marefa School Group, Dubai, Director of International Education for St Albans Schools International, Chief Academic Officer for Knightsbridge Schools International and Director for Quality Assurance for WCL (now part of the Nord Anglia Education Group) based in Houston, Texas. She holds positions on UK and International Education Boards, International Ministry of Education Committees and ground-breaking academic research groups. She works as a consultant to many of the world’s leading school and education groups, UK Academy Trusts and international schools on leadership, strategic development, learning and teaching.

Earlier in her career, Pam was Senior Advisor in the UK County of West Sussex and worked with the DfE as a national officer for Early Years and Primary assessment. She was previously a school inspector, improvement adviser and principal and was proud to be shortlisted for the ‘Inspirational Woman of the Year 2022’ by the Lead 50/50 Group and named as one of the ’40 Outstanding Global Women’ 2023 by Think Global People.

He is also a keynote speaker, start-up mentor and lecturer, specialising in Go to market, commercial strategies and platforms that monetise Data, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

Sheridan brings deep knowledge of UK independent schools and charity governance, following a successful executive career as Finance Director principally in the commercial sector.

As a senior member of one of the Great Twelve livery companies, Sheridan has been immersed in the governance of independent schools and academies, both day and boarding, including 11 years as Chairman of Governors for the Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools.

Sheridan is a Cambridge graduate and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Martha Whitmore

Martha Whitmore completed a long career at McKinsey & Company (world’s leading management consultancy). She has extensive international experience in thinking through and challenging strategies, developing and coaching people and rethinking organisations.

Martha is now pursuing a career in education – a big passion of hers. She is interested in enabling safe and positive environments that help children be confident and caring and that foster intellectual curiosity and learning. Besides her role as a Trustee at ACS, Martha is a Governor at Westfield Primary School in Woking.

Martha is a British and Mexican national. She holds a Masters in Statistics from Oxford University.

Corry Wille

Corry has extensive experience of international human resource management, leading complex organisational change and strategic talent management efforts in blue chip businesses across different industries.

Her first role in BP gave her the opportunity to move from her native Belgium to the USA and then to the UK. Subsequently, Corry worked in senior and board level roles for the Whirlpool Corporation, Tate & Lyle, ING Group and Brambles.

Corry has a truly international mindset which she acquired by living and working in the USA, five European countries and gaining significant work experience in Asia and Africa throughout her career. She is passionate about education, learning, diversity and leadership development and is focused on empowering young people as the leaders of the future.

Corry obtained a Bachelor degree in Political and Social Science from the University of Antwerp, Belgium and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Antwerp Business School in collaboration with Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. Corry also participated in the Advanced HR Executive Programme at the University of Michigan.
