ACS Cobham & Hillingdon offer a well-rounded international curriculum that emphasises intellectual challenge and encourages our students to make connections between their learning and the real world. ACS Egham offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme for all lower and middle school students. The enquiry based curriculum activates critical thinking and challenges students to ask questions and reflect on their individual learning.

ACS Egham offers all four International Baccalaureate Programmes:

• IB Middle Years Programme (IBMYP)
• IB Career-related Programme (IBCP)
• IB Diploma Programme (IBDP)

ACS Cobham and Hillingdon offer the IBDP and IBCP as well as offer the Advanced Placement Programme (AP) and US High School Diploma, delivering a broad and flexible curriculum which can be tailored to the needs and interests of our students.

The Advanced Placement International Diploma requires students to display mastery on AP Exams across several disciplines, and represents an exceptional level of achievement.

All ACS International Schools students who successfully complete the prescribed course of study receive an accredited High School Diploma which meets the admission requirements for US colleges and universities.

Students pursuing this qualification choose from an extensive range of traditional and contemporary subjects to create their own uniquely challenging programmes.

ACS International Schools was founded in 1967 and has served global families from all corners of the world for over 50 years in both Surrey and London.

Each of our leading international schools, Cobham and Egham based in Surrey, and also Hillingdon, based in London, offer a busing service. You will have the choice from a shuttle or door-to-door service.

Our leading international schools educate children from 2-18 years old. We also operate year-round admissions, so you can join one of our leading UK schools at any point throughout the year.

ACS students go on to continue their studies in leading institutions around the world. Our students also pursue individual passions, explore personal interests, and prepare for high-level post-secondary opportunities in sport, creative industries, and business/enterprise.

Universities our students have attended include: Kings College London, Exeter University, Oxford University, Columbia University, Yale University and many more across the world.

Each of our UK schools is unique in its own way, however each school offers a truly international education for their students to achieve their very best. All 3 UK schools offer the International Baccalaureate, along with the Advanced Placement Programme at Cobham and Hillingdon.

The A-Level programme is made up of specific, separate subjects and extra-curricular activities. The IB Diploma programme and Advanced Placement programme is different in that it centres around a set of core competencies, skills and values which are important to the development of every student. The approach is a holistic one, requiring students to study a broader range of subjects and consider the links between them, within an international context.

Where the A-Level benchmark has been adjusted and continues to undergo change, the IB and AP has remained a tried and tested system.
