We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a middle school aged student at ACS International School Egham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s educational journey.
Role Overview:
You will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored academic and pastoral support throughout each morning. The role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support in lessons across the curriculum
- Assist with maintaining focus, engagement, and organisation
- Adapt learning materials to suit the student’s needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents
- Support the student’s social and emotional development
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with lower secondary school-aged students
- Understanding of additional learning needs (SEN experience desirable)
- Calm, positive, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Role Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Part-time, term time only, 17 hours per week 4 hours Mondays and Friday, 3 hours Tuesdays – Thursdays
Location: Egham, TW20 0HS
Salary: Fixed rate
