ACS is seeking an Early Years Teacher to start as soon as possible.
Do you believe young children learn best through play, curiosity and relationships? Do you set up an environment that invites wonder and then step back to watch what children do with it? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
ACS Egham is an IB World School offering all four IB programmes to students from more than 40 nations. Our Early Years team works across Pre-K, Kindergarten and Grade 1 in a play-based, inquiry-led environment built around continuous provision. We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join a collaborative team of experienced educators.
You will be confident with the EYFS and experienced in using it well, not just complying with it. We are looking for a teacher who integrates the best of Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Te Whāriki pedagogies; focusing on carefully prepared environments and the environment as the “third teacher”, documentation that makes learning visible, and a deep respect for children’s agency, identity and belonging. Experience of the IB Primary Years Programme is welcome but not essential. We will support you to grow into it.
In return, we offer a warm and thoughtful team, beautiful grounds, small classes, strong professional development, and a community of families who value early childhood.
