London’s second-largest borough Hillingdon offers a balance of green space, convenience and community. Neighbourhoods in the borough include Hillingdon, Uxbridge, Ruislip, Northwood, Ickenham, Eastcote, Hayes and West Drayton which all provide a wide range of housing, cafés, shops and family-friendly amenities.
Families can also enjoy parks, canal-side walks, and excellent transport links (via Tube and Buses), including quick, easy and direct access to Heathrow Airport.
Beyond Hillingdon
ACS Hillingdon has a broad catchment area, and many families choose nearby towns for more space, strong transport links and excellent quality of life.
Others prefer the outer-London neighbourhoods that offer the best of both worlds city access with a residential feel. Trains into central London take around 30-45 minutes, and the area is well connected to Heathrow, Gatwick and major motorways.

I just wanted to recognise how impressive the Grade 9 cohort has been to welcome and include our daughter as a new student this year at ACS Hillingdon. Moving to a new country and starting a new school is extremely challenging (especially in high school). To hear our daughter share that all of the girls in her grade are welcoming, nice, and inclusive is absolutely wonderful... I just want to let you know that what you all are doing is really working in a positive way for new students.
