ACS International Schools Awarded Gold AI Quality Mark
We are delighted to announce that ACS International Schools has been awarded the Gold AI Quality Mark, recognising our thoughtful, ethical and purposeful approach to artificial intelligence across teaching, learning and school operations.
The independent assessment praised our “coherent, values-led and thoughtfully governed approach to AI”, highlighting particular strengths in the development of student competencies, assessment practices and the way we empower students to engage critically and responsibly with emerging technologies. With a moderated score of 37 out of 40, ACS achieved the highest level of recognition available.
A Future-Focused Approach to AI
Our newly developed K–12 AI Student Competencies Framework was recognised for helping students develop AI literacy, critical thinking and the human skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. The assessment also acknowledged ACS’s strong focus on academic integrity, ethical decision-making and online safety, alongside clear guidance that supports students and educators in using AI responsibly and with confidence. Particular praise was given to the way students are encouraged to engage critically with AI: questioning outputs, reflecting on the role of technology in learning and continuing to strengthen their own creativity, judgement and voice.

Across ACS, we have worked to embed AI into a broader educational vision focused on creativity, wellbeing and authentic human connection. This is thanks to the collaborative work of our leadership teams, educators and digital innovation specialists in creating a structured, research-informed approach that moves beyond experimentation towards meaningful classroom practice.
