Ready to Thrive

Ready to Thrive – 2025 Launch

Designed to support the wellbeing of ACS Cobham students and prepare them to thrive in their chosen futures, in 2025 we’ll launch our Ready to Thrive project.

The primary goal of the project is to build a new facility for our Senior School students that will nurture wellbeing and prepare them to thrive, with a central meeting space, as well as areas dedicated to college counselling, student wellbeing, and safeguarding services.

The first priority is to build out the central meeting space. Our vision is to create a light-filled, dynamic collaboration area that will offer zones for different activities and a central amphitheatre offering seating for larger gatherings of up to 200. A garden room will have doors leading to outdoor seating overlooking the woods.

How you can help

Your support ensures we can create the best possible environment in which our students can learn, grow and take on challenges. Thanks to our parent community, we’ve raised £800,000—80% of our goal. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us move closer to completing this transformative project.

The Central Meeting Hub

Introducing our vibrant new Central Meeting Space—a versatile hub designed for students to gather, collaborate, and thrive. Located on the lower ground floor, this dynamic area is a multi-functional environment that serves as a space to eat, socialise, and study, while also accommodating large-scale presentations when needed.

Amphitheatre Seating

A central feature offering fixed seating for up to 200 people, perfect for group activities or informal gatherings.

Flexible Zones

Divided spaces create distinct atmospheres for focused work and collaborative projects. Curtains can section off areas to suit different activities, ensuring a balance between privacy and open interaction.

Garden Room & Outdoor Access

A bright, inviting room with doors that open to outdoor seating overlooking the woods.

Comfortable Seating Areas

Armchairs along the walls provide cosy spots for one-on-one conversations or individual work.
