A DYNAMIC PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMME
We have an extensive co-curricular programme for our Senior School students. In both Music and Theatre, we develop the skills of our students from the youngest age groups through to High School. Performing Arts has always been a core part of our programme and is widely recognised as an area of excellence.
This includes various music groups such as marimba, rock band, gamelan, colliery band, acapella voices, and many student-led groups. Our Theatre offerings culminate in three annual performances: a musical, a play, and a student-led festival.
For students who prefer to work behind the scenes, we offer a technical theatre club that helps them develop their skills outside of traditional music and drama performances.

We run a private music lesson programme for all of our students either during the school day or after school, for over 11 instruments, including the voice. These one-to-one classes are organised by professional independent musicians who are vetted by the school.
Many students complete ABRSM and Trinity drama and music exams. We are an exam centre for Trinity and ABRSM and we have a specific programme on Saturday to develop students’ skills for these exams.
We also run a rich programme which involves bi-annual drama productions in our theatre as well as smaller studio productions throughout the year.
