Welcome to Ages 2-10 Lower School
Our Lower School provides a unique learning environment for children to thrive and excel.
Through a blend of play, exploration, and engaging lessons, we create an atmosphere that is educational, joyful, and stimulating. The children value being part of a diverse and international community that fosters a sense of belonging and helps prepare them for the wider world.

Early Childhood
We understand and champion the fact that children learn best in an environment that allows them to be children first. Our small classes, led by highly qualified and experienced teachers and assistants, provide a rich combination of daily self-initiated activities, guided lessons, and small and large group interactions.
Our core programme is enriched by strong partnerships with parents, and regular lessons with specialists in art, world languages (French or Spanish), performing arts, PE, and Forest School.
Lower School
Our Lower School provides a unique learning environment where children can thrive and excel. We teach an enquiry-based curriculum that inspires our young learners to investigate, ask questions, and solve problems in a real-world context.
We nurture a lifelong love of learning by encouraging children to be curious and independent learners, preparing them for their transition to Middle School. Our balanced programme features literacy and mathematics, enhanced by lessons in science, visual arts, world languages, performing arts, library skills, PE (including swimming), people skills, and digital learning. Our beautiful woodland area is the ideal setting for our regular Forest School lessons, following an outdoor learning programme that fosters confidence and self-esteem.

An award-winning team
Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team was awarded the Pearson Bronze Award for Early Years Team of the Year 2024. This award recognises the team’s high levels of enthusiasm, expertise, and commitment to the education of the children they work with.
The team has implemented the school’s own Early Childhood curriculum, allowing staff to be more enquiry-focused, play-based, and hands-on in their teaching while maintaining the rigour of learning. Through their cross-curricular approach, the EYFS team integrates patterns of information between different academic subjects, such as English and maths, and helps children develop the lifelong skills needed to engage with the world and build a better one.
