Our Facilities

The High School Library forms part of the Hub and is a fantastic space for researching, revising and collaborating.

The Lower and Middle School libraries are colourful and creative spaces where students can search for reading books, enjoy quiet reading, explore books for unit research as well as find books in native languages which are represented in our community. The students also write, make and publish their own storybooks, which have pride of place in the ELMS.

Our science labs are state-of-the-art with moveable stations designed to maximise learning, whether in pairs, groups or individually. With all the equipment you would expect and more you would not, our teachers and lab technicians are equipped to give the best and most authentic experience.

Art and creativity is a large part of our rich and rounded curriculum. Equipped with the finest materials and tools, our Art and DT studios offer students the opportunity to safely explore various mediums and techniques. Guided by experienced teachers, students have access to cutting-edge technology such as 3D printers, laser cutters and more. Music classrooms at ACS Egham offer access to an array of instruments, enabling students to explore genres, compose, rehearse and perform in groups and individually.

The Coding Labs at ACS Egham are equipped with up-to-date computers, interactive whiteboards, and the very latest software for coding. Comfortable and ergonomic seating arrangements offer the flexibility to work in groups as well as offering visibility of the larger screens for teacher demonstrations and tutorials.

We are fortunate to have our very own Performing Arts Centre, complete with soundproof curtains, banked seating, rigged lights and sound system, as well as a Control Booth where students can be in charge of the backstage mixing and lighting desks. The space is incredibly versatile and capable of hosting events from the largest school productions to the most intimate of recitals. We teach drama at every level from Pre-K up to Grade 12. We also offer the subject at IB Diploma Level.

Great for collaboration, the Middle and High School Hubs are versatile areas with furniture designed to be moveable and built for comfort. Teachers like to use these spaces for classes and group activities due to its flexibility. Students like to use the High School Hub for study halls throughout the day and as a place to socialise during breaks.

A dedicated space for Grades 11 and 12, the IB Centre and Common Room act as a hub for those undertaking the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and  International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme. Equipped with modular furniture and the latest tech, the IB Centre is the ideal place for interactive learning, reflective study and socialising opportunities.

The Lower School Maker Space (ELMS) is an inspiring space with natural light, wonderful equipment and flexible furniture. This space empowers students to work hard on their research, exploration, independent and group work. Having this space in the heart of the Lower School buildings enables the students to access it in a fluid and open way, as well as having a special place for speakers, presentations and classes.

ACS Egham is set in 20 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside. Our grounds are home to several playgrounds and outdoor sports/facilities for our students to run around in including climbing frames, swings, tennis, track and field, football and softball to name a few.

Our sports curriculum includes activities such as swimming, net games, invasion games, creative movement, gymnastics, martial arts, health-related fitness, track and field and orienteering. Our sports facilities include a full air conditioned dance studio, fitness suite, two FIBA basketball courts, eight badminton courts, 2 volleyball courts, an indoor climbing wall and outdoor traversing wall and 2 covered outdoor tennis courts.

The main arena within the Woodlee Sports Centre offers ample space for a variety of indoor sports. A versatile playground where athletes of all levels can hone their skills and push their limits, the arena is equipped with high-quality flooring, natural lighting, and spectator seating. Every game, match, and tournament in the Woodlee arena is an unforgettable experience for students.

Our climbing walls offer students the opportunity to test their strength, agility, and determination – here there’s something for every climber to conquer and explore. Equipped with top-of-the-line safety harnesses, our indoor climbing facility provides a safe and supportive environment for climbers to push their limits.

At ACS Egham we believe in the power of personalised fitness opportunities. Our state-of-the-art fitness suite within the Woodlee Sports Centre is equipped with the latest cardio machines, strength training equipment, and functional fitness tools. Our specialist teaching staff are on-hand to assist with form, equipment demonstrations and planned fitness programmes.

With ample natural light and a full length mirrored wall, every corner of our dance studio is designed to inspire and empower dancers of all levels and ability.

Our gardens and grounds provide a serene and expansive environment that enhances learning beyond the classroom. We encourage students to engage with nature at every opportunity by taking advantage of our many outdoor spaces, which offer the opportunity to foster creativity, wellbeing, and hands-on exploration.

Our Forest School area is key for our early years students, promoting hands-on learning in a natural, outdoor space. Equipped with a pond and chicken coop, the Forest School enables students to spend time whittling sticks, building dens, observing the natural world, safely lighting fires and cooking food under the guidance of an experienced teacher.

Welcome to our enchanting Early Years playground, a vibrant haven designed for children aged 1 to 5. Nestled amidst a canopy of mature trees, this delightful outdoor space offers a blend of adventure and creativity, ensuring our young learners thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

Children can explore their physical skills on the colourful climbing frames, zoom down the exciting slide, or navigate the balance beam with confidence. The playground also features a magical sandpit where imaginations can run wild, building castles or digging for buried treasure.

Our innovative musical play equipment invites children to create their own symphonies, while the drawing boards provide an outlet for budding artists to express their creativity. With an array of engaging outdoor toys, including balance bikes, every child can find joy and develop their coordination.

Ample shaded areas under the trees offer a cool retreat for rest and reflection, ensuring that even on the sunniest days, our little ones are protected and comfortable. Amidst this delightful landscape, a charming picnic table yurt area provides the perfect spot for outdoor snacks and gatherings. Our playground is not just a place to play, but a vibrant space where young minds and bodies can grow and thrive in harmony with nature.
