ACS Egham provides a nurturing environment with a world-class personalised learning approach that is grounded in each student’s unique experiences, capabilities and interests. We believe that all children are ambitious by nature and can achieve their greatest aspirations with support and access to an exemplary global education.
Founded on an American heritage built around creating community and excellent education, we have developed roots in the local Surrey and surrounding communities. We are part of a dynamic, people-focused educational charity, that embraces all the IBO Programmes (IBPYP, IBMYP, IBDP and IBCP), with a vision of creating caring, confident, and effective learners who are ready to change the world.
No matter where our students come from, they leave better prepared with a global passport to their future. We are a community of learners with a mission to inspire the worlds future thinkers and doers, giving learners control, agency and the understanding as to how to own their own learning.
2023-2028 School Strategy
ACS Egham’s School Strategy places the learner at the centre. The learner is surrounded by our Learning Programme, with each element being crucial to the learning experience. The four distinct phases of our school are represented in the compass points, with Grades 11 and 12 as the north, symbolising the destination for all students. The four areas of focus have been developed through the IB/NEASC accreditation process.
Our charitable mission
ACS Egham is part of the ACS International Schools group, a dynamic, people-focused charity that advances education. ACS International Schools became a registered UK charity in 2018.
As a charity, ACS is committed to advancing education by providing a range of means-tested bursary places and working locally and internationally in collaboration with schools and communities to share expertise and resources to enrich the education of our partner communities and ourselves.

Education Strategy
ACS’s Education Strategy describes general intentions which reflect the desired position for our schools in 2025.
Its principal objective is to increase the unique quality and value of the ACS educational experience. Through the strategy’s implementation, we will position the group to respond directly and creatively to geopolitical volatility in our markets and uncertainty in the premium independent international school sector.
Over the next five years, the Education Strategy intends to deliver significant change, including:
- a sharper focus on inspirational teaching that continually improves academic results;
- demonstrated public benefit and global competence through a greater range of educational experiences;
- an expanded and carefully-monitored notion of what it means to belong to a healthy international learning community;
- equitable, distinctive, and systematically implemented support for all students to achieve challenging educational goals.
