Lower School Co-curricular Offerings
We offer a broad and exciting programme of after school activities that encourage children to develop new skills and talents, and find their passion outside of the classroom. We believe that co–curricular activities are an important part of a child’s education and encourage each child to really take advantage of what’s on offer.
Lower school has competitive sports teams, Cougars, in football and swimming and any child can try out for these. We have competitive events with a number of local schools and occasionally enter a team into basketball and netball competitions.
Students can join in our annual Lower School theatrical production which is rehearsed and performed to an audience in our Performing Arts Centre. Our last production of the Wizard of Oz received rave reviews. In addition to clubs and activities, the Lower School library is open every day until 5.00pm where children can spend some quiet time reading, writing or researching topics.
