ACS Cobham students triumphant at World School Games in Dubai
56 students from ACS International School Cobham have returned triumphant from the World School Games in Dubai, and achieved 2nd place overall in the U15s category. Throughout the competition, ACS Cobham students secured 12 gold medals, 17 silver medals and 15 bronze medals in athletics, football and swimming events.
ACS Cobham’s U15 swimming team were crowned champions of the swimming category, while the U15 girls football team went undefeated, achieving an impressive six wins and one draw, with a goal difference of +27 after conceding just two goals.
Robert Crowther, Head of Senior School at ACS International School Cobham, said: “We are thrilled beyond measure, and still basking in the glory of victory, as we reflect on the Cobham Cougars’ three sensational days of accomplishments at the World School Games. It gives us immense pride to offer our students the opportunity to compete in global competitions such as this, and we couldn’t be prouder of our athletes and their outstanding achievements.”
